Does Windsurf support a custom API base URL?

Yes. Windsurf's BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) settings let you set both the API key and the base URL for Anthropic and OpenAI providers. Point them at our proxy and Cascade calls flow through unchanged.

Will Cascade's planning + multi-step flow still work?

Yes. Cascade just makes standard Anthropic / OpenAI API calls under the hood. Plan-and-act, file edits, terminal commands, and tool use all work identically through our proxy.

What about prompt caching for big repos?

Cache breakpoints set by Cascade are forwarded to upstream. Cache writes cost 1.25× input, reads cost 0.1× input — applied to our 80%-off Pro pricing. On a 100k-token repo context, that's the difference between $0.30 and $0.03 per turn.
