Refund Policy

1. Overview

ClaudeAPI.cheap sells digital products — prepaid API credit and one-time plan upgrades. As with most digital services, purchases are final and non-refundable once completed, with the limited exceptions listed below.

2. When we will issue a refund

We will refund a purchase in the following cases:

  • Service not as described. The Service is materially broken or fails to deliver the model access promised at the time of purchase, and we are unable to fix the issue within a reasonable period.
  • Billing error or duplicate charge. You were charged twice for the same product, charged the wrong amount, or charged for a product you did not purchase.
  • Unauthorized transaction. Your account or payment method was used without your authorization. You must report within 30 days of the charge and provide reasonable proof.
  • Wrong product delivered. You purchased a Pro Plan upgrade but did not receive it, or purchased a credit top-up that was not applied to your balance.

In any of these cases, please contact us within 14 days of the charge.

3. When we will NOT issue a refund

  • Change of mind after a successful purchase.
  • Unused credit that you decided not to consume. API credit is a digital good — its value is delivered to your account balance the moment your top-up is confirmed.
  • Credit consumed by API requests you made, including unintended usage caused by bugs in your own code or unattended scripts.
  • Loss of funds due to credentials you failed to keep secure. We recommend storing API keys in environment variables and never in client-side or public code.
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service (fraud, abuse, attempts to circumvent billing or rate limits, prohibited content).
  • Service interruptions caused by upstream model providers' outages or other factors outside our reasonable control.

4. How to request a refund

Email support@claudeapi.cheap from the address registered on your account. Include:

  • Your account email
  • Transaction ID or approximate purchase date and amount
  • A brief description of the issue

We typically respond within 24 hours and process approved refunds within 5 business days.

5. Refund method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method:

  • Card payments — refunded to the original card. Your bank may take an additional 3–10 business days to display the credit.
  • Cryptocurrency payments — refunded in the same cryptocurrency to the wallet address used for the original deposit. The refund amount is calculated in USD at the original purchase rate; we do not bear exchange-rate risk between the time of purchase and the time of refund.

6. Chargebacks

Please email us before disputing a charge with your card issuer. Filing a chargeback while we are still investigating your refund request will result in suspension of your account pending review and may lead to permanent account closure. We resolve almost all legitimate issues directly within 24 hours.

7. Consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, statutory rights under your local consumer law take precedence over this policy where they apply. By purchasing and using the API, you expressly consent to immediate provision of the digital service and acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal in respect of any credit you have consumed. Refunds under this section are otherwise subject to the same exceptions described in Section 2.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to active users at least 14 days before they take effect.
