Does Kilo Code support a custom base URL?

Yes. Both the Anthropic provider and the OpenAI-Compatible provider in Kilo Code expose a custom base URL field. Set it to https://claudeapi.cheap/api/proxy and your sk-cc- key works in place of the upstream key.

Will Orchestrator / Architect / Code modes still work?

Yes. Kilo Code's modes are prompt + tool-use configurations on top of plain Anthropic / OpenAI calls. Every mode routes through whatever base URL you set, so all of them work through our proxy unchanged.

What about Kilo Code's free Claude credits?

Kilo's bundled credits are separate from BYOK. Once you switch to your own API key + custom base URL, the bundled credits stop being used and every call hits your sk-cc- key — charged at our 70-80% off rates.
